- Streaming your own Karanite match is allowed. You do not need separate permission from Karanite to stream your own room.
7. User-submitted content

- You are responsible for the content you submit, configure, upload, display, or make available through Karanite.
- Karanite does not routinely pre-screen all user-submitted content before it appears. The appearance of user content on Karanite does not mean Karanite endorses, approves, verifies, or accepts responsibility for it.
8. Licence you give Karanite
- When you submit, configure, upload, or display content through Karanite, you grant Karanite a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, display, transmit, reproduce, moderate, remove, and preserve that content only as needed to: operate live rooms; show player and spectator views; generate and display replays; maintain battle history; run tournaments; provide custom packs; provide host tools; investigate abuse or technical issues; comply with legal obligations; and enforce these Terms.
- You keep ownership of your own submitted content, but you must have the rights needed to submit it.
9. Public visibility of content
- Some Karanite content may be public or visible to others. Room names may be visible to players and spectators. Public rooms may be publicly visible. Replays are public by default unless hidden or deleted by the host or removed by Karanite. Player nicknames, scores, custom team names, tournament names, tournament results, host profiles, and public pack information may appear in public pages, replays, or shared links.
- Do not submit private, sensitive, confidential, or personal information that you do not want others to see.
- If you believe public content exposes personal information, infringes rights, or creates a safety risk, report it through /legal/takedown or email legal@karanite.com.
10. Prohibited content and conduct
- You may not use Karanite to submit, display, upload, link to, promote, or distribute content that includes: doxxing or personal-data exposure; real names, addresses, phone numbers, emails, workplaces, locations, account identifiers, or private details about another person without consent; harassment, threats, bullying, or targeted abuse; hate speech, slurs, extremist content, or discriminatory abuse; sexual content, especially content involving minors; illegal content or instructions for illegal activity; malware, phishing, scams, credential theft, or unsafe links.
- You also may not: impersonate Karanite, another user, a public figure, a game publisher, a streamer, or an organisation; submit copyrighted material you do not have the right to use; submit official game artwork, screenshots, icons, audio, models, files, or publisher assets unless you have rights to use them; make misleading claims of affiliation, sponsorship, endorsement, or official status; engage in spam, bot traffic, scraping, automated abuse, or scripted gameplay; attempt to bypass rate limits, room controls, access limits, subscription gates, or technical protections; or run real-money gambling, betting, prize contests, or regulated competitions without Karanite's prior written approval.
11. Karanite's moderation rights
- Karanite may review, scan, moderate, reject, edit, hide, disable, remove, preserve, or restrict user-submitted content if we believe it violates these Terms, creates legal risk, infringes someone's rights, exposes personal information, harms users, disrupts the service, creates safety, abuse, or security concerns, is reported by another user or rights-holder, or is required to be removed by law.
- This applies to room names, tournament names, custom team names, player nicknames, spectator names, custom packs, custom questions, answers, explanations, uploaded images, Discord/Twitch links, profiles, public replays, and any other user-submitted content.
- Karanite may also suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations.
12. Custom packs and uploaded content
- Custom packs and upload features may allow Pro Hosts to create or import questions, answers, explanations, images, and category content.
- You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights to any custom content you submit. Do not copy, adapt, or import material from third-party wikis, databases, fan sites, publisher pages, books, guides, screenshots, official artwork, or game files unless you have permission or a valid legal basis.
- Karanite may scan uploaded images and custom content using automated safety tools, OCR, denylist checks, human review, or other moderation methods. Karanite may reject or remove custom content before or after publication.
13. Reports, takedowns, and appeals
- Karanite provides a combined report and takedown process for: copyright complaints; DMCA notices; EU DSA illegal-content reports; doxxing; harassment; unsafe links; impersonation; abuse; and other prohibited content.
- Use legal@karanite.com or the instructions at /legal/takedown. Reports should identify the room, replay, profile, tournament, user, URL, or content at issue and explain the reason for the report.

- Karanite may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content and may suspend repeat infringers.
15. Karanite intellectual property
- Karanite's original platform, code, user interface, branding, logo, Frost and Magma faction identities, helper spell art, category artwork, environment backgrounds, crystal navigation, visual style, original game systems, and curated trivia collections belong to Karanite or its licensors.
- You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, clone, resell, or create a competing service using Karanite's original assets, interface, branding, or compiled content except as permitted by law.
- Karanite does not claim ownership of third-party game titles, trademarks, characters, places, lore, or publisher-owned references.
16. Game references and publisher trademarks
- Karanite is an independent, unofficial trivia platform. Karanite is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any game publisher.
- All trademarks, game titles, character names, place names, expansion titles, lore references, and related marks belong to their respective owners. Karanite references those names only to identify the subject matter of trivia questions.
- Per-universe notices are maintained at /legal/trademarks.
17. AI-assisted trivia content
- Karanite's trivia questions and explanations are generated with the assistance of paid Google Gemini tools and reviewed by a human before publication.
- Karanite does not crawl, scrape, copy, or adapt text from game wikis, Fandom, publisher pages, or any specific community database.
- Karanite does not claim that its trivia content is sourced from, licensed by, verified by, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game publisher or community wiki. Karanite may shorten, edit, remove, or correct trivia content at any time.
18. Accuracy of trivia content
- Karanite tries to make trivia accurate and useful, but trivia questions, answers, explanations, categories, and game references may contain mistakes, outdated information, ambiguity, or interpretation differences.
- Karanite does not guarantee that every question, answer, explanation, score, result, replay, or category is error-free.
- If you find a wrong answer or unclear question, contact support or report it through the available feedback channels.
19. Third-party services and links
- Karanite uses or integrates with third-party services, including Clerk, Paddle, Vercel, Railway, Sentry, PostHog self-hosted infrastructure, Discord, Twitch, Google Gemini for offline content generation, GitHub, Google Workspace, Vercel Domains, and Name.com as registrar of record.
- Some services are core infrastructure. Others are optional, host-directed integrations.
- If a host adds a Discord webhook, Discord invite, Twitch handle, or Twitch link, that information may be displayed or sent according to the host's settings. Discord and Twitch process data under their own terms and privacy notices.
- Karanite is not responsible for third-party websites, services, platforms, content, policies, or outages.
20. Privacy
- Karanite's Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, which service providers we use, and what rights users have. The Privacy Policy is available at /privacy.
- By using Karanite, you acknowledge that your data will be handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
21. Paid plans and billing
- Karanite offers free and paid access. Paid products may include: Pro Monthly — $4.99/month USD; Pro 6-Month — $22.99 every 6 months USD; Pro Yearly — $39.99/year USD; Event Pass — $2.99 USD for 7 days; Founder Host — $19.99/year USD for the first 100 hosts, subject to availability.
- Paddle is Karanite's Merchant of Record. Paddle handles billing, payment processing, tax, invoices, local currency display, refunds, disputes, and payment-related compliance.
- Karanite does not store full card numbers or full billing addresses.
- Prices are displayed in USD on Karanite pages. Paddle may show local currency, applicable taxes, and the final checkout amount before payment.
22. Auto-renewal
- Pro Monthly, Pro 6-Month, Pro Yearly, and Founder Host are recurring subscriptions unless otherwise stated at checkout.
- By purchasing a recurring plan, you authorise recurring charges at the selected billing interval until cancellation. You may cancel from your account billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues until the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise or required by law.
- Founder Host is a limited annual subscription for the first 100 hosts. It renews at $19.99/year for the first 12 months. At the year-two renewal, it may revert to the standard Pro Yearly price of $39.99/year unless Karanite extends the lock-in. If you cancel Founder Host, you may lose the locked-in $19.99/year rate.
23. Event Pass
- Event Pass provides immediate 7-day Pro access as a one-time purchase. The 7-day period starts when payment succeeds.
- Because Event Pass access starts immediately and is consumed over a short fixed period, Event Pass purchases are generally non-refundable once activated, except where required by law or where there is a billing error, duplicate charge, failed activation, or Karanite-side service failure.
24. Refunds and EU withdrawal rights
- Refunds, cancellation, billing-error corrections, Event Pass treatment, and EU withdrawal language are explained in the Refund Policy at /refund.
- Where required by law, new digital subscriptions may be subject to a 14-day withdrawal right. If you request immediate access to Pro Host, Founder Host, or Event Pass features and begin using them, you may lose your 14-day withdrawal right to the extent permitted by applicable law.
- Billing errors, duplicate charges, failed activation, or charges after valid cancellation remain eligible for review and correction.
25. Availability and service changes
- Karanite is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
- Karanite may change, limit, suspend, remove, or discontinue features, packs, rooms, replays, custom content tools, tournaments, integrations, pricing, or plans.
- Karanite may experience downtime, bugs, network failures, browser issues, database errors, hosting outages, third-party provider incidents, or maintenance interruptions. Karanite does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
26. Account suspension and termination
- Karanite may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe: you violated these Terms; you submitted illegal, infringing, unsafe, abusive, or harmful content; you attempted to abuse, attack, scrape, automate, or destabilise the service; your account is compromised or fraudulent; your payment was reversed, disputed, or fraudulent; or continued access creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk.
- If we suspend you because of a mistake, we may restore access or credit lost paid time where appropriate.
- You may delete your account from your account settings. Account deletion removes or anonymises account-related data according to the Privacy Policy, except where retention is required for legal, billing, tax, moderation, security, or dispute purposes.
27. Disclaimers
- To the maximum extent permitted by law: Karanite is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise.

- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Karanite's total liability for claims arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid for Karanite in the 12 months before the claim. For free users, the remedy is to stop using the service unless applicable law provides otherwise.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or mandatory consumer rights.
29. Indemnity

- This includes claims related to your custom packs, uploads, names, links, tournaments, replays, Discord/Twitch integrations, or other submitted content.
30. Changes to these Terms
- Karanite may update these Terms from time to time. When material changes are made, we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify active users or paid subscribers.
- Continuing to use Karanite after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
- If you do not agree with updated Terms, stop using Karanite and cancel any paid subscription before renewal.
31. Governing law and disputes
- These Terms and your use of Karanite are governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws in your country of residence apply and cannot legally be excluded.
- Before bringing a formal claim, you agree to contact Karanite first at legal@karanite.com so we can try to resolve the dispute informally.
